Growing up is hard
We are currently still in the process of moving from our townhouse to our new house. What a stressful time in our lives. We officially sold our townhouse last friday March 22, 2013 but we didn't close on our house until Monday March 25, 2013 so we have rented our townhouse back from the new owners until Easter Sunday March 31, 2013 until 5 pm. I didn't think we had as much stuff as we did. This whole moving process sucks. I am so unbelievably stressed out. The new house doesn't have blinds, or a fence. We don't have a lawn mower, or an edger. We need rugs for the hardwood floors. We need this, & that and soooo much more. I hope we make it through this hard time! I can't keep living my life and going to work stressed about things that Matt and I decided on.

No words
I am at a lose for all things that have happened because it has been so crazy. Today Roman has his second swimming lesson. He seemed to love the first class (minus his teacher) but he is a great back floater. Matt does the lesson with him so it's fun to see them bond in the pool. Roman currently had 5 teeth (bottom middle right, bottom middle left, top middle left, left side next to middle, top middle right) I can't even believe it's all happening so fast. He is a complete joy to our lives. It's sad to think he is growing so fast but what an amazing journey we have had so far. He can sit on his own and he says da-da so much. He loves to talk. He is a huge cuddle bug with his mama. He will dig his head into my neck and just snuggle me over and over. He will pat us on the back when we pat him. We just love him
We are also scheduled to move next week. That week also being my 23rd birthday. I can't wait to get into our new house it will be so nice to have so much more space for all of us to grow as a family.

Stop growing
Baby boy isnt such a baby anymore. It is so sad to have him grow up so fast but so much fun to watch him. He imitates people now when they nod their head yes... and thinks it is so cool. He also just got his THIRD tooth on Thursday February 21, 2013..Mikey's 12th birthday. He can sit now for short periods of time. He gabs so much and has conversation with whoever will listen. Matt took him to his 6th month check up on Wednesday February 20th and he weighed 17.8 pounds, was 27 inches tall. This weight is in the 50th percentile. His head and height are in the 75th percentile. He is getting so big. We are so blessed to have him in our lives.

Where to begin?
So seriously? Where should I begin? We put an offer in on that herriman home, they countered our offer. Matt and I talked about it and countered their counter offer and they accepted. The next step was putting our house up for sale. During that time I would be going to Virginia to see Evan, Angie & aria. I left on Monday February 11 & came back Friday the 15th. I signed all the paperwork online (how convenient) we put the house up for sale on Wednesday February 13th at like 10 at night. We had 2 people come through it on Thursday. By Thursday night we had 2 offers. We ended up sending an addendum saying we had multiple offers and give us their best and final offers. We accepted an offer on Friday. Crazy! Sold it in less than 48 hours. That weekend was president's day weekend so we went to St. George for Mikey's baseball tournament. We let roman try pancakes... he loved them! We also went to Vegas and went and saw dolphins and lions and tigers (and bears.. oh my!) at the Mirage hotel. Roman was screaming at them talking his language to them... so cute.

Change of pace
Once again, A LOT has changed in the couple of days since I last posted. I am now the Manager of Taylor Andrews Studio Salon. I am so grateful and excited to start this new journey. For a while, I started to feel a bit defeated doing the front desk management. Things weren't going as I thought they would. It was disappointing. I am hoping this new journey will always be fun and exciting. I can't wait!
The other day I took my grandma out house hunting-(her and my mom are thinking of moving)- we drove around everywhere and I took her to a neighborhood called Herriman Towne Center. We pull up to a model home and went in...I fell in LOVE! I called my realtor Tim Jobson and put an offer on the house without Matt seeing it first. Good thing he loved it when he saw it too. It is beautiful. I hope we get it. We are putting our house up for sale on February 20th. Fingers crossed it sells quickly!!!

as of late
~Roman is 6 months old TODAY. Time has flown by. I can't even believe that he is getting so old. for his half birthday, he also got his 2nd bottom middle tooth on the left side. It is so cute when you ask him if he has 2 teeth he gets all excited and smiley. I love him so much. I can't imagine what my life would be like without him. He is loving eating baby food and getting to try real people food. He is drinking out of big kid cups. He opens his mouth every time you take a bite of something or a drink if you are holding him. He is super smiley and loves to laugh. His favorite thing right now...Piper! He LOVES her. every time he sees her he starts laughing. It is so amazing to see him grow and learn. He is so smart. Roman, Mommy and Daddy love you so much! We are so excited to continue to watch you grow. You are so amazing and we are so blessed to be your parents. My wish for you in the future is that you always know you are loved and that you CAN and WILL move mountains!
~Today was also Superbowl 47. It was the San Francisco 49ers against the Baltimore Ravens. Ray Lewis (who is a middle line backer for the ravens) it was his last game. He is retiring from the NFL. The baltimore ravens won 34-31. We had a couple of bets going with matts family. First everyone put in $11 and roman put in $1 to equal $100. At the end of each quarter, we went off of the last number in the score and whoever had their name in that square won the money. Matt won $20 at half time and $50 at the end of the game. Great luck! The other bet was if the 49ers won, Matt and Justin had to shave their heads. If the ravens won, Jim had to shave his mustache. We have NEVER seen Jim without a mustache. and mikey had to shave his head.

He can roll!
~So many things have happened in the last couple of days! It has been snowing like crazy. It took like 1 hour to get from fashion place mall to our house on Sunday...we were going like 20 mph on the freeway.
~Matt is gone to Kansas City, Missouri. Him, his mom and dad went out there for 3 days to present their company to Sprint! He had to speak during the presentation and was soooo nervous, but he said overall it went really good and that they told Matt and his parents that they were the best company they have interviewed and seen so far. Hopefully they get the contract and they will start their work with Sprint in like March. They have been so busy with work it is crazy. 60-70 hours a week is what he has been working. Thanks bub- Roman and I appreciate it!!
~Today is also Michele's birthday! Happy birthday nonna.
~I have been feeling a little defeated lately. It seems like everyone that has a baby around Roman's age is already almost crawling and he can't really roll over on his own we always have to help him because he starts crying. I was worried that since Matt and I work so much that we weren't giving him the attention that he need to progress. But, with a little practice the last few days... He has rolled over about 15 times today BY HIMSELF...NO HELP! He loves it. We celebrate after every roll. So cute!
